Have you ever thought about what your hair holds? Between Strands is a visually striking and emotionally resonant performance that explores memory, love, and loss through the symbolic power of hair. Drawing on Taiwanese rituals and East Asian traditions, it traces how life, grief, and remembrance pass between generations. From newborn hair-shaving ceremonies symbolising renewal to mourning practices that mark loss, hair becomes a thread connecting the living and the departed. The performance follows a young woman living in the UK as she navigates the death of her grandmother in Taiwan. A...

You shall not pass... up this opportunity to see some great Kiwi comedy! The last Lord of the Rings movie came out in 2003 and these NZ comedians are still riding that wave. They don’t have a single joke about Hobbits, dragons or really any opinions on the works of Peter Jackson – they’re just using this as a marketing ploy. Although, they are travelling all the way to Edinburgh so, in a way, their journey is a lot like Frodo and Sam taking the ring to Mordor (we assume. We haven’t actually seen the movies). Single Fatherhood (The Sequel to Prison)
Lost his business. Lost his wife. Now he's losing his mind—while looking after three kids on his own. This comedian, once jailed for telling jokes about being Muslim in Malaysia, faces his toughest gig yet: single fatherhood. Is he keeping it together? Barely. But the alternative is putting them out on the street. More freedom for him, sure. But not a good story to tell on stage. A stand-up show ...
