Captain Code

🎤 Stand-up Comedy Special

“Captain Code”

Ziyin is a stand-up comedian from China — and a full-time programmer.

By day, he writes code.

By night, he talks about why none of it works.

“Captain Code” is a stand-up comedy special about life inside the tech world:

deadlines that make no sense, bugs that appear out of nowhere, meetings that should’ve been emails, and the quiet panic of being an immigrant developer navigating the global workplace.

With sharp observations and dry humor, Ziyin dives into:

Growing up in China and becoming a programmer

Working in tech and slowly losing faith in “best practices”

Office politics, performance reviews, and cultural misunderstandings

Writing code for a living — and debugging himself on the side

This is not a motivational tech talk.

No startup myths.

No success stories.

Just honest, funny stories from someone trying to survive work, life, and legacy — one line of code at a time.

“Captain Code”

A stand-up comedy special about programmers, work, and the human errors behind the system.
