Child of Sunday

Elisa Riddington’s Child of Sunday (Or, "How I Escaped a Cult and Lived to Sing About It") is an intimate and poignant solo performance that weaves together personal storytelling and music to reflect on themes of faith, resilience and the search for connection. Drawing on real-life experiences, she highlights the struggles and quiet strength of ordinary individuals as they navigate life’s hardships. Her evocative vocals and heartfelt narratives paint a rich emotional tapestry, capturing moments of vulnerability and triumph. Through humour, honesty and powerful musicality, Riddington invites audiences into a deeply personal journey that resonates universally, celebrating the courage and perseverance of those who often go unheard.
