Matt Hobs: Follow the Science

When you follow the science, you don't know where you'll end up. Join Matt on his journey as he rediscovers his love of science. Matt did a PhD in biochemistry and believed he'd make a difference in science, but Matt and science drifted apart. This show is about falling back in love with science. Finding the joy in discovery in the weird and wonderful truths of science rather than frustrating reality of life in a laboratory. It's for those who want to laugh and learn.

Matt Hobs returns to the Fringe after his successful 2019 debut solo show 'Matt Hobs BSc (Bristolian of Science)' at last year's Edinburgh Fringe ("Hobs' explanations are equal to that of the best lecturers, and undoubtedly funnier... a very likable leading comic with a talent for multimedia comedy.", The Wee Review).

This year we have two entry methods: Free & Unticketed or Pay What You Can
Free & Unticketed: Entry to a show is first-come, first served at the venue - just turn up and then donate to the show in the collection at the end.
Pay What You Can: For these shows you can book a ticket to guarantee entry and choose your price from the Fringe Box Office, up to 30 mins before a show. After that all remaining space is free at the venue on a first-come, first-served bases. Donations for walk-ins at the end of the show.
